Question Device manager graphics card issue pls help

So I built my first computer yesterday and I ran into an issue with the display once I installed the Radeon drivers locking at 640 by 480

Today its no longer the case but like yesterday device manager says I don't have the drivers installed and doesn't show the card I am using but the Radeon software says otherwise and displays the exact graphics card what do I do?

Any help/ideas would be appreciated!

Specs: Ryzen 5 3600
16 GB RAM
Radeon 5500xt 8GB

Update restarted the pc went back to 640x480. Could it perhaps be my monitor seeing as it is pretty old roughly purchased in 2011/2012
