[SOLVED] Device Manager not showing DVD/CD

I connected an external CD-ROM but my Windows 10 PC is not recognizing it. I googled and found that people are saying I have to go to device manager and click "DVD/CD"

But as you can see from this screenshot DeviceManager, there is no such thing. What should I do?

It should auto install have you tried a different port?

I agree with Dark Lord on this one...try changing the port you're using.

Also are you sure the external drive doesn't require a USB driver ? even some "plug and play" usb devices are really only plug and play after a driver is installed...

I have 2 LITEON cd\dvd Externals and they auto install and are ready to use right away.
What manufacturer and model is your drive?

full system spec? what the external cd rom?

Oh yes. It works after changing port. It's strange that the previous port works for other mouse. Thank you all!
