[SOLVED] Device won't power on

I just received my new Avercapture HD GL310. Once everything was properly plugged in and the device came on, I started downloading the drivers and firmware. Then the device shut off and I cannot get it to come back on!! Any ideas

Usual way to install drivers for USB devices is to start driver installation before plugging in device, some my ask at some time to plug it in or need to restart computer first.
