Devices cannot be showed nor detected by my computer

Hello,
my device manager are not working. i try to eject devices but cant find it in the task bar, of safety remove. even in show devices .... no devices were showed. try to search device... not working... whatever device i attached not working. how to fix problem with my computer? thanks

Check in Device Manager to make sure your USB ports are listed properly.

You can also try to reset the BIOS (if desktop, unplug from power, remove the CMOS battery for 15 seconds, replace, reboot. If laptop, need to check in the manual).

When did this start? Anything get installed, uninstalled, error messages, etc.. before this started?

What kind of device are you referring to? I have seen that issue with XP not showing USB drives in the system tray. I just eject from Mycomputer or control panel.
