Hello!
I have an old computer with a DFI LanParty UT nF4 SLI-DR motherboard, with 4 x 1GB RAM (DDR1) memory modules (identicals, Mushkin redline). I really need more RAM memory and, before buying 4 x 2GB, I am curious if my motherboard could be "forced" to see 8 GB RAM as long as in the specs is written "max. 4GB RAM memory".
Even now my comp (win7 64-bit) can "see" only 3,12 GO RAM instead of 4. In "System" is written 4 GO installed and 3,12 usable. I have the last BIOS available on DFI site.
Supposing I would like to not change my computer, is there any possibility to force my motherboard to recognize 8 GB RAM?
Thank you!
