So here's the deal. I'm not going to buy either of these types of boards. I'm waiting till the new quadcores are out which will most likely take advantage of a new socket ( at least thats what I think in terms of the lifespan of the 775).

But, I'm curious what you guys think. Which is better?

OR all the 680i mobos (pick your fav flavor).

Also, for many of us who don't use SLI/Crossfire setups, which is the better mobo route to go and why?

depends upon your priorities & requirements.
apparently the best overclocking reults on quadcore so far seen have been on the DFI Infinity 965 but nobody is saying when or even if that's going into production ...
