I have a DFI M2RSH with phenom II 720. Right now i got it up to 3.6 by increasing cpuvid special or something in the bios. When I look in amd overdrive it says i have increased the VDDC. I have the newest bios. I went to DFI to see what the deal was. Looks like with one of the past bios releases there was something called cpu uCore. I can't find this anywhere. The only other thing I can think of is that Overdrive is seeing it wrong. In the bios when i change the option, the health monitor shows the cpu voltage has gone up, though it doesn't have as many cpu voltage options as overdrive. Any suggestions? Thanks

Rely on the voltage options of the BIOS, rather than Overdrive's, as your mobo's more "aware" of what settings it can run at, rather than a third-party program that probably has less idea of what your system is capable of.

I may be mistaken, but I think "uCore" means "unCore", an OCing option on i7 systems.

Alright. Thanks for the uCore description. Must have something to do with overclocking the HT. I've read some on this with the new PIIs. I am still a bit confused. Seems like adding CPU VID in Overdrive provides more stability that increasing the vidspecial option in the bios. I went ahead and emailed DFI. Maybe they have a solution or very descriptive explanation. I am not expecting it. But maybe customer support can pull a win for once. Thanks for the advice though.
