Hi,
This may be a little of topic but...... My 7VAXP Ultra went faulty and after
nearly 6 weeks the supplier has said Gigabyte are dragging they heels over
the replacement. He has gave me a DFI NF2 Ultra in its place.

Does anyone have any experience of these mobos? Are they any good?

I know price wise its cheaper(and nasty?) than the gigabyte but has all the
stuff I need and too be honest it looks like a better board.

I'm running an AMD XP2800, 1GB PC2700 memory.

BTW My experience of Gigabytye support has been pretty terrible and well
I'll be glad to be rid of it but if anyone wants to send me a 7VAXP Ultra
(that actually works!!!) I'll happily post a comparison of the two boards.
(Go on Gigabyte, you know u want 2).

All advice welcomed.

B.

Not as good an all rounder as the Abit NF7-S Revision 2, but no slouch
either. It would be my second choice, but then I'm very fussy and you
have a much much much better alternative than the 7VAXP.

None whatsoever, but many in here do and they will get back to you !

Don't know how to respond to this, but perhaps being the second choice
out of all the nForce MOBO's might give you some re-assurance.

Put in PC3200 ( see below ) and your existing CPU can and will give
you an AMDXP3200

Stop begging, if Gigabyte sent you one you would be out of the frying
pan and into the fire !

Two £30 Quid bars of ' Dane-Elec ' 256 - PC3200 can be had anywhere in
the UK.
