Anyone know what the heck is wrong with these things. I have a DI524 RevA Dlink router that is giving me only half the speed wired and wireless. If I take the router out and hook right to modem I get full speed so the problem is in this thing. Factory settings except security. Firmware is updated. Is this thing just a pos and too old to run anything at todays speeds?

I have searched everything and can find no answer and the customer friendly Dlink wants to charge you to figure out the glitches and basic functions of their equipment and they put no useful info on their website about it.

Some other info. I have another pc router combo running DI524 rev G and it gets full speed. This is the second Rev A I bought thinking my first one was bad but it did not fix anything.

Other topics I have found on this only talk about wireless being slow not both.

Any suggestions on these things?? Is it time to take a sledgehammer to it??

Thanks. I looked everywhere for an answer on this but found nothing. Was hoping there was some kind of trick to this thing.
