diable fan leds

between my asus max hero vII and my antec 1200 case. there is alot of light coming from my rig id like to disable it could i simply unlplug the led power running to the case lights or would that turn off my fans also any help very much appreciated

Depends how they've been wired up. Usually they can be switched off separately.

Most LED fan's are actual power the LED's from the fan connector, so they can't be disabled with cutting the wires to the LED's and isolating them, etc.

Are the LEDs only on your fans? If so, you can replace the fans with non-LED type.

You can turn the motherboard lighting off in BIOS (disable RoG, I think).

Lots of people complain about the Antec 1200 LEDs. According to the manual, the 200 mm fan in the top does have an on/off switch for the lights but the others don't. You can either locate and snip the wires to the LEDs or you change the fans for non LED versions. No other way, it seems.
