[citation][nom]southernshark[/nom]Well at leat the economics in Diablo 3 are more real than Online Poker.... or the Stock Market.[/citation]

Real ? There is NOTHING real about ANYTHING that involves creating wealth from computer data.

D3, online poker, the stockmarket and our banking system all fabricate money/ value out of nothing. ALL should be illegal, banned and or boycotted.

Who needs to be innovative/ productive when you can sit on your ever widening ass and make a 'living' by pressing buttons on a keyboard and mouse.

Buying game items with real money is cheating anyway. The RMAH should have 0 demand, so who the fuck cares that you didn't make $4 this month from playing D3 for 8 hours/day.

As far as the economy goes, this just adds more items and so decreases the prices that legit players pay on the gold or hardcore AH.

The issue here is that the accomplishment of beating the game is trivialized, especially in hardcore. There's a very steep (progress, gear) curve in inferno, and now it turns out that the elite players have just been cheating their ways to victory and uber gear.
