Hello,
Earlier, I created a poll called 'Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2' and I said I would create a discussion thread - for those who wanted to share their opinion on the matter. So, here it is.

I recommend Guild Wars 2 dude, the service isn't perfect at the moment due to huge traffic, but the game itself is leaps and bounds above any mmo I've ever played and certainly better than Diablo 3 if you are looking for a single or multiplayer experience. Also with no subscription fees to pay Guild Wars 2 is easy to step away from (not that you would want to haha) and spend some time on another game without wasting your monthly payment.

I'm only lvl 14 at the moment.. Been working since the early launch. But its about the most fun I have ever had in a Game non the less a MMO.

I am so glad I don't have doing stupid boring quests anymore. I had a moment last night were me and about 25 other people were attacking a Ice dragon stronghold and people were getting mauled by a world elemental boss but I kept poping my sheilds and rezing the fallen, And we finally after about 5-10 minutes got him wore down. We all got EXP and loot from the event and didn't have to worry about getting into a group.

i have tried both, and i would any time place my bet on guild wars 2, its much better in terms of game play and UI.

if you've played Diablo 1 or 2, go with Guild Wars 2. D3 is a poorly managed game, because developers cared about making a quick buck rather than making a good game that would earn them money for being good.

My biggest problem with GW2 is all the classes are really fun and unique, meaning that I cant dedicate all my hours to leveling 1 character like in other mmo's.

Regardless of what some would say,Diablo 3 is a pretty good and fun game, however,Guild Wars 2 seems to be the better game,at least from my experience with the beta.

there is a site:www.reasendfund18r49.com sell gold and offer other services for mmorpg games, you can go there buy Diablo 3 gold, 07 runescape gold, old school rs gold, maplestory mesos, cheap gw 2 gold and wow gold, we also offer other services, if you are interested in, you can go to our live chat to consult, we have the best service. This is our site: www.reasendfund18r49.com.

I honestly would buy neither. GW2 didn't follow up on the a lot of its promises, and diablo III is inferior to diablo II in almost every way possible.

No matter the large amount of people saying Diablo 3 is terrible, i will still recommend it. Though the fact that D3 has always-on DRM(never bothered me at all) negates the distinction of GW2 being a MMO, i still think D3 has plenty of things going for it. I loved the combat in D3, it was flashy and quick and less clunky than of the original 2 Diablo games. I enjoy fast games and bursts of colour. Diablo 3 is also one of those games that is extremely easily acessible(though some people dont like that). One can just pop in for a few minutes, kill some beast and get a few items and pop out. The skill system is wide and doesnt make you regret any choices you make if you dont know anything about it. The real money auction house may be a flawed concept, but personally i like the social integrations on D3. It is nice to find some great piece of loot-in game that is just slightly worse that the one you have and still get plenty of gold on the AH for it to buy another item

Path of Exile and Tera are both free to play, and both fundamentally better than Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 respectively. D3 might have been the biggest letdown of last year for a lot of people, but GW2 was easily the runner-up. That game was so monumentally overhyped pre-release and as soon as everyone got a taste of the actual game, it became a ghost town. There's a reason you don't see it populating the front pages of relevant MMO discussion groups and websites. It's not fun, and it's certainly not challenging.

Save your money altogether for something more worthy than D3 or GW2 imo. Neither one warrants their pricetag.
