Hey guys - i've just gotten my new laptop.

i7 4710MQ
GTX 860m
8 GB RAM
240 GB SSD + 1000 GB HDD.
Winows 7 Ultimate

I bought with the purpose on gaming, but both LoL and Diablo III, is running really bad. D3 runs bad no matter what i do, and LoL is playable on low settings - but it should easily run both on high settings with 80 - 100 fps. Any suggestions?

Try to run it on lower settings. First lower shadows that alone might fix it as shadows are one of most intensive stuff. And also i think there is some setting for liquid which you should lower too otherwise you may hit low fps in sewer areas.
I got i7-2670QM and radeon hd6850 graphic and can run Diablo 3 with lowered shadows with rest on high details without problems.

Edit: Forgot about most important part :). Make sure you got latest GPU driver. If it's new laptop manufacturers tend not to provide latest one. You can try some auto-updater if you got such bundled with laptop or just visit directly Nvidia site to check if you got latest one.

Alright - will try low shadows. But my Nvidea system tells me i should be able to run both on all high settings, without problems. I have updated my drivers, ofcourse :)
On LoL i have to lower the graphics to medium - low, before i get above 80 fps, doesn't make any sense to me at all... But i'll try to change some settings and so on, see what results i get :)

What resolution and refresh rate on monitor you use?
Just wonder why you try to push it to 80-100fps? Game should be playable without problems at 50-60 fps or even lower. What actual fps you get in diablo / lol?

Okay, i installed Skyrim, and Nvidea sets it on ultra on everything - I know it should be able to handle it, but it lags SO much. I've seen videos/tests where they run skyrim on 1920x1080p Res. and ultra settings (my screen is HD aswell). I have no idea why it runs this bad - i've checked for drivers, but can't find any.

I run LoL on 80 fps, when i lower the settings to low - medium, and D3 also runs fine when i choose a smaller resolution. The FPS is not whats important, I just can't figure out why my system wont play my games on high settings and a decent FPS, when it clearly should be able to.
