Cant get my new build to startup or respond in any way. Know the motherboard and processor are good, think i have my power supply connected properly.... But no response from the system.
Components are:
-Diablotek cpa 6170 case
-gigabyte 660 ti gpu
-samsung evo 120 gb ssd
-msi z97 pc mate motherboard
-evga 600w bronze psu
-Intel Pentium Processor G3258 4 BX80646G3258
-(2) 4 gb ram sticks

Alright so tried swapping in yet another brand new psu, same model, no joy. After that I tried moving the standoffs, still no luck. Im running out of ideas. Could it be a grounding issue or is it definitely a power supply issue. Or could it be something else entirely?

Is the 24 pin power plug seated tightly on the mobo? And the 4/8 pin connector? Is the switch on the back of the PSU turned "ON"?

yeah the 24 is sealed tight as are the 8 and 6 pin connectors. is it possible that the psu is doa?additionally the indicator light on the mobo wont light up although i suppose that shouldnt be a surprise.

What PSU is it? Do you know if it is the B1 or the B2? If it is the B1 it is notoriously bad and likely the issue. Here is a good upgrade PSU:

This 650W is cheaper than its 550W sister. Tier 1 and fully modular.
