I am having a problem with a new build. So i am looking for programes that will test how my PC hardware is running so i can eliminate hardware faults first. The programme would prefairably be free but i would be willing to pay if its good enough.

Any reccomondations.

Thanks some good suggestions there. My build is,

Amd Athlon II X2 240
Asrock MB K10N78
2GB DDR 2 Kingston Memory
500 GB HDD
Coolmaster 330 Case
450W PSU
OnBoard Graphics Gforce 8200
DVD RW

What happened was was running alright then while i was playing a game yesterday i got a noise then a blue screen of death. After which the PC shut down and would not restart. I reseated the memory and update the drivers and it has run ok since. What i did may have solved the problem but i wanted to check the hardware to see if there is any problem there in case it happened again.
