i built a pc a month ago, i had to buy all my parts on ebay cause i was on an extremely tight budget
i got haf 922 for 94 dollars
msi 770-g45 for 60 dollars
hd 5770 for 70 dollars
amd phenom II x4 975 for 135 dollars
cheapo power supply 600 watt for 35 dollars
generic 4gb Ram
500 gb hard drive
no dvd drive, i installed windows 7 through usb drive
it was working for a moth than something happened
i have three games, battlefield bad company 2, gta 4, and the sims 3
yesterday in the morning playing those games all worked perfectly
at around noon whenever i played battlefield, the vga would crash and i would have to reset it. this didnt happen with the other games though
an hour later it also started happening the GTA 4
and then another hour later it happened to the sims 3
then another hour later it would crash at the sight of any 3d games
soon the computer shut off while playing music and when i tried to turn it on it shut down after 5 seconds and when i tried to turn it on again it wouldnt power on.
i suspect that the cheapo powersupply progressivly died throughout the day. do you guys think it is power supply? if so is this a good replacement= http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015
