Long story short my computer turned into a high-tech brick, so to fix it a resorted to doing a pc reset and chose to keep my personal files but delete all of my apps (windows 10). So it deleted all of my steam games, etc. but when I tried to reinstall them post reset it said I only had 10gb of storage left like I did pre system reset. So, what exactly is still taking up the full terabyte of storage is my question? All I really had were games, and now they're all gone and replaced with what? To make things more confusing my storage is even still going down and has reduced to 8.15 Gb within the hour. This is just really confusing to me and if someone has any ideas it would be much appreciated! I also have another account on here but have not logged onto it for at least a year (forgot password). Would that have anything to do with it?

I also chose my current account for the reset, would doing it again and selecting the other one do anything?

Update: Under my storage in system settings it now says that apps and games are taking up 650Gb, which was true when I had them installed, but now looking through what that 650Gb is it only came out to about 8 programs none of them being more that 200mb! Still very confused as to what all of the taken space is going to any help would be great! >_<
