As the title said, is it too much? Too little? Is it middle enough?

Thanks you for your answer.

Agreed. Probably a bit much. I tend to go with the "pea size" in the middle of the processor. The pressure from clamping down the heat sink will spread it sufficiently.

@misteriosly - What you're seeing are just the retaining clamps for the battery. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Hello... I would suggest using your clean finger to spread a THIN even film on the CPU and Heatsink, mating surfaces... LESS is Better with thermal paste use... you just want to fill the un-even microscopic metal surfaces, between the CPU and Cooler... metal to metal contact is the best heat transfer... so Don't over apply and Don't lift it up to look at it after mating the Heatsink to the CPU... this will cause Air bubbles... and a cleaning and re-apply will be needed.

To be honest, thermal paste seems a little too much. You can follow the iron suggestion, or just reapply thermal in the middle of the CPU, a little smaller grain.
Can you make a different pic of the bios battery ?
It seems strange to me, there are some marks on it, that doesn't seem normal.

Thanks you for all answers, I managed to go with the pea size method
@misteriosly - As what wolf say, it is just a retaining clamps and a reflection from my mobile torch, here is the pic https://postimg.org/image/55cmysjfb/
