Did i brick my bios?

ok so i have a netbook eee pc 1005hab and i flashed the bios to latest one, but for some reason while im at the windows loading screen my netbook blue screens and restarts itself. did i brick the bios? if i go into safe mode it does the same exact thing. its also a windows xp. I also need to save the information too, so i dont really wanna resort to reformatting

i can get into bios and everything just fine. while i flashed the bios my computer didn't just shut off. i can get past the boot screen.


can anybody shed some light?

It's not a bricked bios or else you would never make it to windows. You would push the button and nothing would happen.

Any chance you loaded the wrong bios? Have you tried resetting with default values?
