Did I brick my MSI p67 mobo after trying to update bios?

After attempting to update the bios on my MSI P67a-g43 mobo from update 1.j to I think 5.43 or the most recent update I ended up in an infinite boot loop. The update mentioned something about ME8 and I assumed it would be backwards compatible (I have a sandy bridge not ivy bride). After saving the file from the MSI website on the flash drive (and my HDD), and running the update utility through windows (not live updater), the update started and my computer reset to a screen saying I didn't have the files on the flash drive. I then turned off my computer and took the flash drive out and rebooted my computer to see what would happen. It booted up and said that the update was finishing (the flash drive was not plugged in at this point). It said update completed successfully, then my computer rebooted. And that's were it ended. My computer is stuck in an infinite boot loop, powering on for about one second then restarting. I'm pretty sure I bricked it my mobo.

Specs:
I5 2500k
MSI P67a-G43
2 4gb DDR3

Solution
To clear the CMOS will not help, because something is wrong during the BIOS update. You should try to reflash the BIOS again. If you can't reflash the BIOS, and you will need the new BIOS chipset, or the new MB.
Hey thanks for the response.

So far it doesn't boot up long enough for pressing any keys to do anything. When it boots, fans go on, mobo lights up but there's no output on my screen and it only lasts roughly one second before restarting.

I've tried resetting my cmos in every way, removing the battery, the jumpers, and the reset button, non of which made any changes. Short of removing every piece and trying it like that, but since I only had problems right after the update to mobo I can be pretty sure it's my only problem.
