My motherboard is PRIME A520M-K, CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - 6 Cores.

When I query my hardware for memory sockets I get this:

dmidecode --type memory
# dmidecode 3.0
Getting SMBIOS data from sysfs.
SMBIOS 3.3.0 present.
# SMBIOS implementations newer than version 3.0 are not
# fully supported by this version of dmidecode.

When I look up specs for PRIME A520M-K online, it says for memory this:

2 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 4866(O.C)/4600(O.C)/4466(O.C.)/4400(O.C)/4333(O.C.)/4266(O.C.)/4200(O.C.)/4133(O.C.)/4000(O.C.)/3866(O.C.)/3733(O.C.)/3600(O.C.)/3466(O.C.)/3400(O.C.)/3333(O.C.)/3200/3000/2933/2800/2666/2400/2133 MHz Un-buffered Memory *
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
ECC Memory (ECC mode) support varies by CPU.
* Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists), and memory frequency support depends on the CPU types.

From this I concluded that each socket supports max 64GB (total 128 for both) and 3200 MHz is one of the supported frequencies.

However, when I put in memory (64GB, 3200 MHz each module) the computer won't boot. The fans turn, that's all. Not even bios shows up.

So, did I get it wrong, even though the hardware told me, sure, Maximum Capacity: 128 GB ? Or is there something else I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.
