I have two different sticks of ram
First: DDR4 Crucial 4gb 2400mhz 1.2v CL17
Second: DDR4 Apacer 8gb 2400mhz 1.2v CL17
I overclocked them at 3000mhz and 1.29v
Everything was fine but then windows crashed.
Rolled back all the overclocks to default but still BSOD.
Checked them one by one and windows memory diagnostic says it is the apacer one.
It runs fine until just randomly at any point just decides to crash.
Windows boots no problem. Bios detects it.
Can anyone explain what happened to it?

Solution
It doesn't matter, you can't fry ram by ocing it unless you had voltage above 1.35v when you did it. Also ram doesn't have any memory oddly enough so they can't know what you did to it

Yeah i did the tests and i know apacer one is faulty, but it all by itself boots to windows i can game on it and randomly it just BSODs'. As if it was unstable.

Will they accept it? i overclocked it and after that it happened, how do i know it is not fried?

Okay then, thank you :^)
