I just bought this system for $750:
https://nzxt.com/product/player-pc-3060-ti

It hasn't been delivered yet but I haven't seen any cheaper systems anywhere else (even if I bought the parts at a nearby micro center). Am I right and thinking this was a good deal?

My last system that I built for myself was a i7 4790k and a gtx 1080. I had to retire that system but the GPU lives on in my wife's computer that she plays the sims on. I will probably take the 3060ti in the new system and put it in her computer later. the 1080 is getting a bit to slow for some of the games she wants (planet coaster 2)

Link works for me.

Strange, I am getting a redirect to a site called share a sale telling me the item isn't available. I was able to 'inspect' and find the actual link.

I don't feel like it is an out of this world price, but when you consider other factors such as warranty, support, even the OTC price of OS it isn't bad either.

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a decent deal.
The last system I built was an intel 11th gen system for my wife, I switched over the Mac mini once m1 came out but after getting a steam deck I missed having a gaming pc. I will probably wait a few months and upgrade the graphics card. What would be a good pick for that system? I have two MSI 1440p monitors.

I found the system on NZXT's site, it looks fine for the money.

PC came today. Works great and cable management looks good. PC had all name brand parts. Gigabyte mobo psu, and gpu, wd ssd.

One pleasant surprise is that it had 2 sticks of 16 gb ram instead of 16 total. Only downside is that it’s rgb and I see no way to turn it off. (Team group delta)

Well, I'm a little bit bummed. I didn't notice right away but the pc has an issue shutting down.
When I press shut down in windows the screen goes black like normal but the CPU fan, case fans, PSU Fans and RGB on the ram stay on. I tried updating the bios, putting the default settings in the bios, and even reinstalled a clean copy of windows. Nothing helped. I reached out to NZXT to see what they say. I'll keep you guys updated if you're interested in how their support fixes the issue.

Well the PC is going back for a full refund.
When I actually started using the PC I was getting "Driver Power State Failure" blue screens on top of the not shutting down.

The NZXT support line was responsive but they weren't able to figure out which part was failing. My guess is that its the motherboard because the PC passed a memory test, hard drive test, and the GPU seemed to work fine. I talked to the support line 3 times over rate course of 3 days. On the third time I just asked to return the PC for a refund and they agreed. Obviously this wasn't a great experience getting a broken system but at least they stood by their return warranty.

I would say its a decent enough PC for the money to try again with another one. Now you at least know that the customer service is reasonable. I would also say that the CPU it more of a bottle neck than the GPU in that system. Try to find a 14700 or a 13700 on sale at some point and that would get you set for years to come on the CPU front. The 3060 TI performs about as well as the 4060 Ti so you would need to spend a lot to get a meaningful upgrade. I would say try the 3060 Ti with the games you usually play and only upgrade if you feel it is lacking performance. The 3060 ti should also have decent resale value if you do it before the release of the new cards.
