Good evening, I am working with a 9600k on an Asus z390 rog strix mobo. It has been awhile since I have overclocked, the last time I did, it was a 3570k @ 4.4Ghz low temps and voltage. So I have manually set the cpu core ratio at 51, 50, 49, and 47 and I get the whea uncorrectable error randomly. We doing it manually, the only other setting I change is the negative offset to 10 just in case my PC gets overloaded. I can run different stress tests and everything will be fine, the PC crashes randomly with that error. A lot of times it is when I am playing games. Ps, I have a 2060 and all of my drivers are up to date. I have been reading that people who receive this error need to apply more voltage?? Is this right? I just let the mobo do the work. Even when I stress tests, my temps never go above 70. I am using a corsair h60i. I have a few days to exchange the processor for a new one. Not going to tell them I have overclocked it, the salesman actually told me not to tell them... I just want to get my money's worth. Any help would be appreciated.
