Only you can really answer that question. If the boneshade is more useful
to you than the items you gave up, then you made a good deal. I have traded
some fairly strong stuff for something of much less value so I could use it
on a lower level char. The other guy got what he needed, I got what I
needed. That, IMHO is a good deal for both.

Not if you're happier with the near perfect boneshade than you were with the
items you traded.
