I got a PC with MSI Z590-A PRO. I can't plug in the LAN cable. Should I push harder or is there a special LAN cable I've been sleeping on?

Would you please tell me what relevant information I have left out? I apologize, but I thought it would be enough to provide the mobo model. Also, I am unaware of special LAN cables.

If this is the only problem I will have because of this, I'm thinking of getting a USB to LAN adapter. Are there other reasons to insist on centering the ports?
Something may indeed short out.

It is quite possible they used the wrong standoffs.
The whole motherboard is NOT installed properly.

Paying someone to assemble, you should expect proper assembly. This is not that.

Look at how far off the USB -C port is. That should be centered in that opening.

And do NOT say to them..."I think it is because..."

Instead, you say..."This is wrong/off center/I can't connect the ethernet cable, fix it"

Just came back. It's not perfectly centered, but it looks a lot better. They showed the case to me in the shop. They claim that the mobo sits the way it should. A standoff was the problem.
However, now I'm plugging in the cables and I notice the metal cover is bent. The LAN cable came in without any issues. An USB cable I just plugged in touches the metal cover.
