2xGTX1080
1xSAS RAID Card
2xSSDs
5x7.2k SATA

EVGA SuperNova 1200 Platinum
CyberPower 1320w UPS

Usage:
Professional, 8-12hrs a day VIdeo Editing, Compositing, 3D Animation and Rendering.

I picked the PSU above using CoolerMaster's PSU calculator and 1200 was its recommendation. However I would like to OC and I didn't take that into account when calculating. After upping the volts from 1.1 to 1.3 the calculator recommends a 1500w. What's confusing is that using my UPS's load monitor the system idles at about 224w and shoots to around 400w when doing a video render. When using the GPUs to render 3D it goes to around 600w. Running prime gives a steady 380w...

Did I pick the right PSU? Do I have room for a modest OC, somewhere between 1.1 and 1.3v?

Thanks!

Solution
1| You should be fine with what you currently have but might I ask what you mean by a modest overclock?
2| Might I also ask how you got 1xGTX1080Ti and 2xGTX1080's in there? You should've gone for a 2xGTX1080Ti setup which would've netted you a better result.
3| You didn't mention the case's make and model.
4| The CPU volts aren't the only real factor, you also have to deal with the rest of the component voltages and higher clocks would also mean higher heat output.
5| You could put this doubt to rest if you had a Kill-A-Watt meter to test your system's power draw when everything is at stock clocks.

Solution

1. Modest OC = 3.6ghz - 4.0ghz @ 1.2 - 1.35v (give or take...)
2. I already had the 2xGTX1080 and because I wanted to run a hardware raid I only had room for one additional GPU on the Taichi.
3. You are correct. It's a Phanteks ENthoo Primo
4. Also correct.
5.Good suggestion. How would you say a Kill-A-Watt compares to my UPS's Software Monitor?
