[SOLVED] Did I gimp myself? h370 :(

Hey team, I'm in the process of upgrading my PC after 6 years. I plan on swapping out my current MOBO, CPU, and RAM. I bought the GIGABYTE H370 AORUS Gaming 3 WiFi, and wanted to pair it with an i7 8700K.

Upon further inspection I realized that this is a budget MOBO and won't support OCing. My main concern will the i7 8700K fit in the socket? Will I atleast get the turbo speeds advertised on the CPU? I really don't plan on pushing the CPU any further than the turbo speeds.

Also, will the RAM that I purchased function fine with this MOBO? CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 2666MHz C16

Only issue will be no OC and 2666 is the right choice for H370.

Yes the CPU will fit and run at turbo speeds in that motherboard. The ram should be fine at 2666 but won't go any higher.

Yes that is correct , no issue with TURBO and 2666 is the right choice on H370.
