Did I just fry my system? (Never mind, fortunately a false alarm)

It wouldn't at first, but after I unplugged it and plugged it in again, it will now. It's working fine. Geez, I almost had a heart attack, a stroke and almost fainted all at the same time. My PC is my baby!
