Hi,
I've been trying to sort a neighbour's laptop on which someone put both BIOS and HDD passwords. I used CmosPwd on it tonight without realising that it is not suitable for laptops, and now the laptop is completely dead - pressing the power button does absolutely nothing. Is this possible? I don't have the power lead for it until tomorrow so I'm hoping it's just run out of juice, but I fear not. If I have killed it, is there any way of rectifying it?
Cheers.
