Did I kill my PSU or all of my system?

I am currently building my first pc and yesterday it turned on and asked me to boot a device, which I didn't do because I did not have a copy of Windows with me. At that time the PSU was not screwed in, but i did that later with what I'm pretty certain were the wrong screws as today I noticed they touched some of the inside parts of the PSU, it was never turned on like this yesterday. Today I got a copy of Windows and plugged my pc in and turned on my PSU as well as my monitor, which turned off almost immediately and I noticed that the breaker for my room had shut itself off. Now my pc won't turn on because of the PSU, but I don't know if the other components are damaged as well. Did I just murder my whole system, or just my power supply??

Ok, I'm getting a new PSU tomorrow, however, in your honest opinion, do you think that the whole system has been fried?

Ok, I have a Corsair CX 600M. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks
