[SOLVED] did i mess up my ssd?

i was installing 860 in a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter,and since i was sleep deprived i tried to install screw the wrong way which made a hole close to the screw slot.

i've installed it now just fine but i didn't run it yet,should i return it?

I would start by downloading Samsung Magician an running some tests and benchmarks before anything else. If you broke it, I doubt that most sellers would take it back.
