running some oc stress test on realbench with 4.5ghz i7 6700k Vcore voltage manual 1.320V

but when i check hwmonitor and cpuz vcore voltage was at 1.360v under load

is this normal ? :??:

also tried 1.330v and 1.340v, Vcore voltage still run at 1.36v under load

I am sure that cpu core voltage is at Manual

Dram voltage at 1.35V
the rest was on Auto

Solution
yeah in the bios think its llc or what ever they call it on your motherboard

should be different levels my board has 5

its to stop voltage droop so you need to move it down 1 position as its actually giving you too much voltage

hmmm i set it to 1 and now it's using 1.26v under load and will crash everytime i run the stress test

had to set it to 5 to get the voltage that i wanted to test on manual

now i had another problem ..

i had no idea what happening here, at cpu voltage mode, manual 1.32v but it was using 1.328v idle (exactly the same voltage when i test at 1.33V) (both bios and hwmonitor show these).

when i try to do stress test 1.32V, at idle running at 1.328V llc 5, it will drop down to 1.312 under load, when i set llc to 4, idle voltage will not change but under load it will run at 1.29v and at llc 6 it will go to 1.344v
