Did I pay too much?

Well, a new experience at 4K called for a new rig.

So, this is what I'd gotten (literally a week ago, and finally got it all put together) and now ponder did I pay too much? I mean I see people playing in 4K with builds costing a thousand some less.

I'd read the 295x2 was the absolute best for 4K, so I thought two would definately be suffice for gaming!

Thoughts? All appreciated!

If "value" for 4K gaming was the goal, yes, you paid too much...

However, all of that is really nice stuff, and none of it in and of itself is "overpriced" if it meets a particular goal. That's a really nice quality computer IMO.

You could have a great 4K gaming experience on an i7-4790K rig with a pair of GTX980's in SLI and 16GB DDR3 and probably shave about $2000 off the cost of that rig with little to no perceivable change in performance or visual quality.
