Question Did I permanently damage my motherboard?

I plugged my case fan into the incorrect slot on my mobo while the PC was on. It sparked at the point of contact and shut down my PC immediately. My PC is now running fine, except now when I try to play games (COD, Fortnite) I get like 10-20 frames and it's essentially unplayable. Before this issue, I was getting a smooth 120fps on Fortnite. A benchmark on https://www.userbenchmark.com/Software showed that my PC is not running as efficiently as it could, but I'm not savy enough to understand the results beyond that.

CPU/GPU/Mobo:
i7 7700k
Radeon RX 5700XT
MSI B250M Gaming Pro

Do I need a new motherboard?

Resetting the BIOS didn't seem to work :/

You can see the burn mark above the 4 pin connector. Is this a death mark?
