I had a perfectly working pc a few hours ago. I decided to do some cable management, since it got quite messy.

I did the thing. Plugged everything back and turned on my pc. Nothing happens. I double checked all the connections outside and inside of the pc, tried multiple power cables and outlets. Still no sign of life.

Since I saw no other solution i tested the PSU. I detached everything from the motherboard and wired up the pwr_on and gnd pins to start the PSU. Then I measured voltages on the connectors using a multimeter.

24 pin power connector: Only the +5VSB pin outputs 5V as it should. Others (12v and 3.3v) output 0v.

CPU power connector: not working

PCIe connector: not working

I have a Corsair rm750x power supply.

Is there a chance I short circuited the PSU, when plugging it in? Why would that happen?

Solution
Did the fan spin when you jumped it, also do you have any spare modular cables, did you discharge the PSU before working on it, by holding the Power button.
Try jumping the PSU, just plugging it back in shouldn't have shorted it, was it plugged in whilst you were cable managing , also that the modular cables are plugged into the PSU properly

That's what I thought also. Nothing was plugged in while I was cable managing, so it was not damaged while I was doing cable management. I jumped the PSU for measuring the voltages on connectors and got the values I listed above.
