Did I wreck my lga 1151 pins?

So yes, the crappies thing ever happened. I slipped while trying to install my 6600k and barely bent 4 pins in the socket. I wasn't nearly ready to boot to bios but could not stand the suspense. I rigged all necessary boot cmponents because I had to know if I blew my build or not.

I CAREFULLY with a speech tiny flat head prevision screwdriver tilted the bent pins back into position . Installed CPU and like I said rigged a Dan directly over cpu. I just needed to know if bios would see it...I think.

So: I successfully started up machine and bios recognized and said I had the processor, speed, model, etc. Now of course without proper cooling I did not let it run more than a few seconds. Temp hit 60c and I shut it off.

What I am wondering is this:

Since bios recognized cpu and even gave temp readings and fan speed, and details of the cpu am I in the clear? Was I able to fix my bent pins? It wouldn't show at all I my motherboard was bricked, right?

Lastly, I didn't do any damage by letting it hit 60c did I?

Jeeez, I miss AMD already, lol.

Thanks in advance, gentlemen and gentlewomen for any assurance you can give me.

If the pins look right then they probably are, it can be very bad, but if you are confident you fixed it then you are probably good. (Like I said, it booting is a good sign).

The force is a bit deceptive, as everyone expects something else.
You wont know until you do a full build, but chances are its working properly.
You also probably didnt damage anything with heat (the processor is designed to shutdown to save itself in the case of cooler failure (or user failure)).
That being said, dont do that again. Its a plain stupid idea.

I think/hope you are right. I just couldn't stand not knowing. But like I said, they were BARELY bent, and I VERY carefully bent pins back just a tad. I am psyched about this intel build, but ffs, I def prefer the amd setup only in so far as how to install CPU.

Can anybody else give me peace of mind here?

Good news first. I salvaged the mobo and cpu. I have full boot to desktop and everything seems normal. Temps on my h100i gtx at idle are 27/28 C. That's good right? All cores reporting temps. I had some problems with motherboard. It absolutely battled me to the death over CPU FAN minimum RPM error. And yea, I set every possibly option, etc to ignore that so I could boot. No luck. So finally I plug in a spare 140mm noctua and bingo, we have liftoff. Bad news? I can't get an RPM reading on the fans on the h100i. Any advice?
