Question Did MB/PSU die after just 30 seconds?

Hi guys, I finished my first build yesterday. I was trying to do everything carefully and watched a bunch of videos how to do it properly, but still smth went terribly wrong ...

I put the monitor cable in, tuned the switch position on PSU to on. My motherboard lit in the side with rgb. And I pressed the power button on the panel of my case.

PC started working, my RAM rgb started blinking, fans were spinning. On my AIO in 10 seconds I saw "Fluid Cooling temp. 26°C. I saw LEDs blinking on my MB: red, then white.

Everything looked ok, and suddenly it all shut down hard.

I tried to press power on the case again - nothing. Tried to turn of PSU with also reattached cables - this time even power on Mobo is not lighting.

I disconnect PSU and tried to do the test if it is working, I have this test connector you put on 24pin. PSU fan NOT spinning.

What are the chances the PSU died after working just about 30 seconds? Could I damage other parts?

Fractal Meshify 2
Seasonic GX-850
Corsair AIO H150i Elite LCD
Ryzen 5800X
Corsair Memory 32/3600/18
MB: Asus ROG Strix X570-F
Asus TUF 3070 TI OC

I looked around and did noslt really see anything visually damaged. Also there was no noise or smell...

Please help.

Did you get any output at all on the monitor?

Have you tested the RAM or moved it around into all available slots, one stick at a time?
I did not manage to see anything on the monitor. Now I cannot even test RAM as PSU basically looks like it gives no power.

I am afraid MB fried also, is there a way to test if MB is alive without PSU?

I don't think there is any way to test a motherboard without specialized tools.

It's a diagnosis by exclusion: if everything else is OK, the assumption would be that the motherboard is bad.

I'm guessing you have no other PSU to swap in?
No, I will have to get a new one and prob will have to rebuild. Just wanted to know what are my odds that it's just new PSU died, or it is all of it...

What are the chances a random new PSU fails quickly?

Probably under 10%? More than 5%?

Seasonic is generally good stuff, but not infallible.

I'd guess something else is going on.

You might take everything out of the case and put it on a tabletop. With everything disconnected, add one part at a time, looking for signs of life on the monitor.
