Did my cpu overclock stick?

Hi

I overclocked my i5-6600k cpu from 3.5ghz to 4.0ghz by changing the multiplier to 40. But every time I go back into the BiOS, the "targeted cpu" says 3500mhz while "cpu ratio" stays at 40.
Here's a picture of what I mean.

But if I re-enter 40, the "targeted cpu" changes to 4000mhz. Here's a picture of the change.

I did run Prime95 to stress test it (here's a picture of that) and it says multiplier is 40.

So I just want to know, did my overclock stick? If it did, why does the BiOS' "targeted cpu" keep changing to 3500mhz while "cpu ratio" stays at 40? Or am I doing something wrong?

PS I don't know what image sharing site Tom Hardware allows, but I'm using xomf.com. Sorry for the bad quality picture; I don't know how to screenshot in BiOS
Also I won't be able to respond for a while, so apologies if I seem silent for a while.

Solution
A good way to check is to get a benchmark with a score based on CPU speed. I would get Cinebench, run the CPU render test at stock, and then try with the multiplier at 40, you should see a pretty big jump (12.5% or more I want to say)
