So recently i moved my system into a new case and it suddenly stopped starting up. The fans would turn on and the lighting on the motherboard started but after 1 second it powers itself off. and then the progress would repeat itself every 4 seconds without me pressing any buttons. I did try moving my RAM to different slots and i jump started my PSU to make sure it worked. I took out my CPU power cable and the same thing happened. So i guess it cant be the CPU, PSU nor the RAM so it must be the motherboard right?? or am I missing something? I am using a 450W PSU for just the motherboard a SSD and some fans so i am guessing that the lack of power isnt the problem, i am using a Corsair psu and i just got my system for 3 months so everything is new.

Did you scratch your motherboard against one of the standoffs when putting it in?

If you felt resistance when inserting it, and pushed anyways, you could have scratched it. Take it out, check the bottom for scratches, and reseat it.
Not sure, and I assume people with more experience will reply shortly, but merely jump starting the PSU and having it run does not mean it is not the problem. Personally, I'd look on Craigslist or try to find a power supply that I could swap out with to see if that's the problem. Regardless, best of luck finding a solution.
