I'm kind of a noob to PC gaming but I was going to get this video card the R9 270x OC Edition and I noticed there was two models. There's a 2GB and a 4GB option. Now why is the 4GB cheaper then the 2GB version of the same card? Am I being an idiot here? Because I actually wanted the 2GB but if the 4GB model is cheaper....... Then..... Yea.

Well if you look at all the other AMD 270x 2GB models you'll find that the Asus you linked is way over priced. Most of the other models run between 189 to 220 dollars. The asus 270x 4GB is similarly priced to it's competitors. So the problems isn't so much that they're the same is that the 2GB is for some reason as much as 60 dollars more then it's competition.
