Question Did the i5 8600k support 4 module ram ?

Hello i need some help with my build. I have
Motherboard:asus z370 E
Cpu: i5 8600k
Ram: corsair 2666Mhz
I want to upgrade my ram with 4 corsair vegeance pro 3200Mhz (4x8gb).
Did my cpu can support it?

Yes the motherboard supports 4 modules but it will still only run in dual channel. There will be 2 modules per channel.

I don’t know what you mean. Channels and modules are different. No socket 1151 cpu supports quad channel but most motherboards will run 4 modules in dual channel mode.
