Did you know the Book of Busido doesn't decay?

I dropped one on the floor in my house last Friday and it's still
sitting there, un-locked down, un-secured.

I don't bother keeping the Ninjistu or Bushido books because (a) I
don't have either skills on any of my characters and don't plan on it
any time soon, (b) they're a dime a dozen, and (c) I have some
problems with "bushido" having known some US servicemen who got caught
on the wrong side of "bushido" during WWII. The word turns me off,
I'm afraid.

Did you know that Stratics lists 8 Bushido spels, but the book only
has 6 spells?

This is because 2 of them are automatic, and do not need to be clicked:

Passive Ability: Weapon Parry
Samurai are more adept at parrying with a weapon than a shield - especially
the two-handed variety. This happens automatically as their Bushido skill
increases along with Parry.

Skill Bonus: Whirlwind
Whirlwind attacks gain a damage bonus from the Bushido skill, increasing as
it affects more enemies. The damage bonus is applied to all enemies that are
hit by the Whirlwind attack, including the primary target.

The rest have to be activated, thus are in the book.

Did you know that the book of bushido counts as seven lockdowns if you put
one in a secure chest in your house?

I kind of agree about the so called "warrior code" of bushido. IMHO it is
spelled wrong; they left out two L's and put a D where the T should be.

Hmmm, there seems to be a bug/issue with items in houses. I had a table
stick around for over a week before I finally picked it up and moved it
outside. Thought maybe it was a magic table that didn't decay, but outside
the house it did decay. Most things I leave in my house do decay, but every
so often something "sticks". The aforementioned table was even moved around
the house a bit before I finally moved it outside.

Perhaps the servers don't keep house interiors loaded when no character is
present so the interiors don't decay when you're not there?

It might have something to do with that, but I think there is more to
it. Most things do seem to decay, it's only some objects that seem to
get stuck. Maybe I'll try testing it. Could be difficult though, how
can I assure no player entered the house in my absence? I suppose I
could make my houses private, but I hate private houses. Also, even a
private house might be "loaded and processed" if another player attempts
to step on the steps. Guess I'd have to test for that too :-(

Not really worth the hassle just to satisfy curiosity. At least it's not
the other way around with items mysteriously decaying away too fast.
