didn't know where to ask this so here it is. I have a battery question what determines compatibility?

I have a 3rd party controller to connect to my phone (Maegoo, but I've seen it under other names, Nintendo style) it has,
-BL 602040 3.7V
+400mAh 1.48Wh
written on it.

I was wondering other than the 3.7V does the 1.48Wh factor into compatibility if I were to find say an 800mAh battery? Obviously the 3.7V plays a factor but what about the 1.48Wh?

Well, I know that
The objective being to find or determine if some other battery is compatible with the battery now being used in the controller - correct?
Well, I know the 400 is what actually determines how long a device will last 800 would theoretically be twice as long (but we know the world doesn't work that efficiently)

I have a Bluetooth 3rd party controller I use to connect to my phone, the battery doesn't last a whole shift at work, so I was looking to upgrade the battery... Just worried about the 1.48 causing issues...
