So, after switching routers since the old one broke down, I noticed that my IP which used to be 192.168.1.1 is now 192.168.0.1.

I checked this after my laptop couldn't connect to webpages while it had perfect connection while my phone could ( realized it was different then ).

Also, my wifi name has changed, sort of. Where it used to be just the name of our wifi on every device, now it's *name 2* *name 3* etc.

What exactly is the difference between 0.1 and 1.1, and should I bother with changing it?

Solution
Different routers default to different ranges. If your router is providing DHCP services, it shouldn't matter.
Go to http://whatsmyip.net to see what your external IP address (assigned by your ISP) actually is. The 192.168.xx.xx addresses are an internal subnet.
