Ive played a lot of ps3 games on my sony tv which is 1080p 50hz, games lagged pretty bad in most part for example like crysis 2, it wasn't smooth at all but when i connected it to other TV that is LG 3d 40inch the game ran super smoothly, i want to buy ps4 but i fear of the same old bad fps that i got from ps3.
Though i don't know if ps4 reacts the way ps3 did, i really don't want to buy a monitor that is 60hz just for the ps4, so did anyone have any experience with this and maybe played ps4 on 50hz tv or monitor?

Monitor / TV refresh rate has nothing to do with the console and even if we look at the console itself there are many games which have an unlocked framerate.

To OP: Older TVs (mainly CRTs) couldnt operate above 50Hz in PAL areas so back then games in PAL areas (Europe for example) were running 17% slower compared to America (NTSC - 60Hz).

However this shouldnt be a problem for any LCD/LED/Plasma TV they can operate at 50Hz OR 60Hz as well, though you might need to change the TV to "Game mode". So normally you should be able to use your PS4 with the TV you menitoned without any hiccups.
