difference between Atheros, Broadcom and Intel

i need to re-install my Wi-Fi driver on my netbook Acer D270, on their website I have three to choose from: Atheros, Broadcom and Intel
the download sizes are
Atheros 44.8mb
Broadcom 78.7mb
Intel 139mb
is one better than the other? which should I choose?

Those are different chip manufacturers and thus each driver is for a different wireless card.

If your laptop has a very easy to take off access panel on the bottom, take it off and find the small wireless card that has a black and white small antenna cable going to it.

You can hopefull find the type on a sticker/label on that.

Otherwise you can install each one individually and see if it works, if it is ot the right driver then it will tell you durring install.

If you go into the device manager and click on the wireless network device it generally tells the brand you have. Many time it will even tell you the manufacture part number.
