Difference Between c602 and c606 chipset

Hello everyone I'm planning to purchase a supermicro board I'm trying to figure out what differences there are in the c602 and the c606 chipset before I purchase anything.

Any help much appreciated

C602 supports 10 SATA ports and has a TDP of 8W
C606 supports 14 SATA ports and has a TDP of 12W

I'm sorry I'm not sure what TDP means? Can you explain?

This s a measure how powerful processor you can put into that case (and every CPU has its own TDP rating)
