Difference between Corsair RM850i and HX850i PSUs

Hello girls and boys,

as the title suggests...does someone know what is the difference between Corsair RM850i and HX850i PSUs besides gold vs platinum efficiency and sleeved vs low-profile cables? And a price ofcourse 😛

The HXi is platinum, which means it has slightly better platform design and a tad more efficient parts for more efficient power delivery. Other than that, i think one of them comes with the Corsair Link software, which is very good. You can control temperature and fan speeds from it. But the RMi is better in ripple effect and voltage regulation which is equally important.
Honestly, there is not much between them. If i were to choose, money not being a factor I would certainly look for the unit which is connected to your system through the software for better monitoring. Both of them are Tier 1 units.
