Difference between Dell u2415 versions?

Solution
I cant see from the picture (which is only a picture of the front) if the monitor has a standard HDMI ports and are advertising that they are MHL capable (this is what the video output on android phones is called), or if the HDMI port is the micro-HDMI that MHL uses.

Thus you may possibly need an adapter for HDMI connection.

Since you are going Dual Monitor it also comes down to what connections you have on your PC. The monitor I recommended comes with many ports so it would just be a matter of figuring out what adapters, if any, you would need.
The one on the far left is an older 16:10 aspect ratio.
The second one is also 16:10 but has more hdmi/display ports and is IPS panel which has brighter colors and better angles
The third one is 16:10 IPS with fewer port options
The last one is also 16:10 but is not IPS. Does have more port options then 1st model.

EDITED:
Typically monitors today are 16:9 aspect ratio to be same as TV aspect ratios. Don't know if your market is different then USA or if there is another reason why they are all 16:10. FYI if you don't know what aspect ratio means: on a 16:10 aspect ratio for every 16 mm of width, it is 10 mm tall.

Thank you so much for an explanation! Which one of those would you recommend me to get?

P.S. What's with one being 24' and other 24'1?

I corrected an error in the post and added more information to my original post.

As far as which one to get I would get any of the last 3. It seems the main difference is just what ports they have available to them. Having a model that does both display port and HDMI can be nice for the flexibility, but if you only plan on using 1 monitor and not going dual or triple monitor then it does not really matter.

With that said, the third one for the 318 units seems to give the most for best price.

Thank you so much, that helps a lot! I'm planning on using 2 monitors, so my last question would be, is 318 one still viable as best for its price? :)

Thank you, I appreicate your help! One of those monitors indeed states that hdmi's are MHL, I would really want to avoid having any adapters. I'm using AMD R9 270x :) What would you suggest?

I need to know the exact model of the card, different companies make the same chipset card with different ports (some companies even have multiple versions of the same card).

Or if you can just tell me what ports are on the back of your GPU that would suffice as well.
VGA will not help you for this.
DVI and HDMI are fully compatible (the digital signal is the same so there is no conversion) so you can get a DVI to HDMI cable and it will work flawlessly.
If you have Display port then you can use that for one of your connections.

The card is Gigabyte Radeon R9 200 Series, 270x, 2GB. Model no. GV-R927XOC-2GD
I believe it does have 1x HDMI, 2x DVI (different types) and 1x Display but I'd appreciate if you could check just to be sure.

You are correct. DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and Display Port.

So you can go one of two routes:
1) HDMI to HDMI port on monitor, and Display Port to Display Port on monitors
2) HDMI to HDMI port on monitor, DVI-D port to HDMI port on monitor using DVI-HDMI adapter cable. (This option might be cheaper then a display port cable).

Either option should have the exact same video quality.
Generally this should not be an issue but just in case, once you use the HDMI cable, if you do not have audio it is because your audio control panel is now trying to output audio via hdmi. You will need to go into your realtek audio control panel (or other brand if not using realtek audio chip), and set it back to your analog ports instead of HDMI).

That's great, I think I'll go for the first option as I was just checking display port cables and they are actually very cheap here :) So finally just to be sure, the choice would be the one with more ports? Also just one more thing I noticed, the one you recommended doesn't have 6ms turbo mode? Or it's just not there.

Thank you so much!

Good catch, after looking at multiple of them I thought they all had 6ms refresh (which is really not that fast compared to 1ms high performance gaming monitors).

The 3rd model (the cheaper one) actually looks like the best from what I can tell (mind you I cant read most of the page because of language and google translate does not work on this network).

Yeah indeed, I'll be using it for programming mostly and just sometimes games so I think that shouldn't be an issue.
Hehe no prob! From what I've compared, I noticed the second and third are pretty much the same, while the 318 one previously mentioned, has instead of high-speed USB 3 Hub, an Audio jack and no turbo mode.

I'm going for the 3rd one then :)

Thank you so much for your help, appreciate it.
